Kids Share Travel & Explore Day Program is supported by the nonprofit organization Partners of the Americas. Our unique, innovative and child friendly program opens the door for families with young children who wish to have a safe and fun travel and explore experience. We want to give parents time to relax and explore and their children an experience of a lifetime. Our focus is bringing children together through exploration, the arts and cultural education with the assistance of an eco-tourism organization. We do this by giving them the opportunity to cross-cultural share in adventure exploring and learning; creating a narrative book which involves art, story-telling, photography and physical activities by sharing each culture’s various sports and safe age appropriate adventures. It is also important that we participate in Community Development Projects. All activities are shared with the indigenous children in the community we live with. *All parents are welcome to attend the Kids Share Travel & Explore Day Program which is all about creating positive, social integration of the children in both cultures.

A day with us may involve working with the children who live on a coffee or sugar plantation for part of the day and later travel to a well-known historic location or place to explore. Activities will vary depending on ability and age of children.

Both cultures learn from each other by sharing, caring, playing and working together. Children who explore with us learn about each other and their way of life through the careful guidance and support of our program directors and guides.

It is our future hope that we share our book series to a wider audience. We are proud to have been selected as the recipient of the 2010 USBBY Bridge to Understanding Award!
